Selecting the right real estate agent for you is perhaps the most important step in buying or selling a home.  The agent will be your guide, your advocate, your teacher, and your #1 resource, so choosing wisely is a must. You can accomplish this through an interview. You might be shocked, but is quite a common practice, especially among sellers. You can only work with one agent so you’ll want to pick one that best fits you. Your agent works for you and advocates for your best interest. It is important to have a good relationship with your agent, and the interview will help you set the foundation for that. The interview needs to highlight if you will work well with the agent. Does the agent listen to your questions and respond in a way that makes you comfortable? Does the agent understand your goals and objectives? These are things to gain from the interview.

The infographic below gives you solid questions to ask a realtor. If you do not have time to set up interviews if you’re buying a home, you can always read reviews from past clients. I always advise my clients to read my reviews (see them here).
